What to Expect
Welcome to Star Chiropractic and Wellness! The first day to a new office can sometimes be overwhelming. What we wanted to do was lay everything out for you here, so you had an idea of what to expect on your first visit.
We begin with your full health history to understand your concerns. We ask that you fill this out online before coming in to the office, but if you can’t we just ask that you come 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment to fill it out in the office.
Before your visit
After you schedule an appointment with Star Chiropractic & Wellness you will receive an email with a link to our new patient paperwork. It is here where you will have the opportunity to share as much as possible about your health history, concerns, needs, and goals. This will help Dr. Pat to connect and better serve you. We ask that you fill this out before your appointment, so that way we can use your time in the office to begin your journey.
Day 1
We know the first day to an office can be very overwhelming. We want everyone to be treated like family. So, when you first walk through the doors you will be greeted warmly by our amazing front desk team, Dow and Brody! Dow will give you a little bit of paperwork and then give you a tour of our amazing facility.
After your tour you will then meet Dr. Pat! This is where Dr. Pat will thoroughly explain chiropractic and how it works specifically for you. He will then perform a detailed assessment using our state-of-the-art Insight technology. This offers a thorough analysis of the functioning nervous system and allows Dr. Pat to see any hidden patterns of damaging stress and how your body is able to adapt and handle that stress. This is a tool he will also use to check your progress through your journey. After the scans he will go over an extensive health history of any past or present health challenges that you are facing.
Please allow 1 hour for your first visit. We know you will get a lot of information on this first day, so before you leave you will have time to ask Dr. Pat and Dow any questions you may have.
We know going into busy spaces can be challenging and stressful with kids. We want to give everyone the best experience they can possibly have with less stress. If this is something you might be facing, please let us know and we can block off an office time for you and your child. We want this to be an amazing experience for you and your family!
Day 2
As you walk in the doors you will have another warm welcoming from Dow and Brody! You will then meet with Dr. Pat as he will go over all your results from the first visit. He thinks it is very important to explain how the results from the first day specifically relate to your case. He will also, explain those awesome scans he did from the first day. Then he will go over the game plan on what he recommends for the amount of care you need and deserve to meet your goals that you shared from the first visit. Dr. Pat wants you to feel confident that you understand the results from the first day, so if at any time during this visit you need to ask any questions feel free to do so. His goal is to have you leaving with a sense of HOPE that you are in the right place.
Then you will finally have the opportunity to sit down with Dow as she will go over the care plan, scheduling, and finances.
This visit typically takes 30-45 minutes.
